The GSCH LEADERSHIP:

The Evatts

Wes and Lindsay Evatt are from Greenville, SC. They have three children, Bella, Nate, and Marleigh. The Evatt’s first felt called to Missions in 2006 with a trip to Central America. While there, they saw the great need for orphan care and prevention. Upon returning to the United States, they began to work for an orphanage in Mauldin, SC as house parents for six years. During this time, the Evatts prayed that if God so allowed they would answer the call to foreign missions. In 2016 the Evatts started their journey with BMDMI by serving as LEAD Teachers at the Good Shepherd Christian Academy. They now serve as Interim Directors for the Good Shepherd Children’s Home.

Ben Frusher, originally from Kansas, provides oversight of the farm and assists with miscellaneous maintenance tasks.

The Farm at GSCH exists to: ...teach Biblical principles and Work ethic and give the kids the opportunity to see biblical work-ethic, business ethics, and responsibility; ...to indirectly or directly be apart of seeing others be saved and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. ...to turn the farm over to the Lord and let him work show his glory though the work of the farm; and, ...to grow food for the GSCH in an ethical, cost efficient, and safe way that keeps costs down and provides job opportunities and teaching opportunities for others.
